The 2019 Joint AAMA and IGMA Summer Conferences went off without a hitch earlier this month, with members from both associations coming together to network and hear from industry leaders and speakers. The unique combined event in Victoria, BC was memorable for many reasons, but the scavenger hunt around the city especially brought out everyone’s fun, albeit competitive, sides. Be sure to read news coverage of the event in the AAMA News section of the AAMA website, but for now, look below for photos from some of the optional events members took part in while in Canada.

Scavenger Hunt

Participants combed the city of Victoria, following a list of things to find or do around the city and capture in photo form. The team with the most points collected won.

Dinner at the Sticky Wicket Pub

Following the hunt, everyone enjoyed dinner and rooftop volleyball at the Sticky Wicket Pub.

Butchart Gardens

The famous Butchart Gardens made for a beautiful photo op for conference participants.

Traditional English Tea

Spouses were invited to take in a traditional English tea, complete with finger foods.
