Celebrate Exemplary Members at the FGIA Virtual Annual Conference
We at FGIA are thrilled to announce the opening of registration for the 2021 FGIA Virtual Annual Conference, which will be held February 23-25. This three-day industry event can be attended from anywhere, with breaks built in to accommodate a range of time zones. Plus, an upgrade option is available for those companies who seek multiple registrations from different locations. Let’s get into some of the highlights for this much-anticipated fenestration and glass event.
First off: Back by popular demand, economic analyst Dr. Chris Kuehl will give a presentation on changes in the economy since the pandemic began. His session will address questions such as, what has changed? What will change back? What will global trade look like? Kuehl will also update participants on what is happening with construction, transportation, finance and many other sectors that have been forced to adjust and change in response to the pandemic recession.
Another important event during the FGIA Virtual Annual Conference will be the Annual Awards Ceremony. FGIA owes its success and recognition in the industry to the time, energy and talent of our members. These leaders help FGIA achieve its vision of improving home and building performance through better glass, window, door and skylight technology and standards. To thank them in a virtual format, the winners of several prestigious organization awards will be announced and recognized.
Other topics include design trends for commercial and residential construction, manufacturing safety specific to proper accident investigation protocol, a U.S. and Canadian legislative and regulatory report and a codes report for both countries.
We know those who attend our events want technical forums designed for interactivity and dynamic discussion reflective of the work being conducted by FGIA's councils, committees and task groups, so a substantial portion of the schedule has been allocated to address those activities as well.
Early bird registration rates for the FGIA Virtual Annual Conference are available through February 10, so register today!
