It’s almost time again for GlassBuild America, the largest annual gathering place for the entire glass, window and door industries in North America. As a co-sponsor, AAMA works with other industry leaders to make each year’s event a success. This year, some new features are being introduced, such as an NGA-sponsored opening reception, a modified Window & Door Dealer Day format and the option to visit industry experts at the Knowledge Bar. If you’ll be in Las Vegas for GlassBuild next week, visit AAMA in booth 927.

To kick things off, the opening reception from 5 - 6:30 p.m. September 12 will be a great chance to mingle with colleagues and exhibitors on the trade show floor while enjoying refreshments, live entertainment and fun activities. New to 2018, this reception is free to all GlassBuild America registrants.

The next day, visit Window & Door Dealer Day, hosted by the Window & Door Dealers Alliance (WDDA). Window & Door Dealer Day provides a unique opportunity for owners and top management of retail window and door businesses to come together to learn about current market conditions and best business practices specific to the residential window and door market. It’s happening from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. September 13.

Finally, don’t forget to stop by the new Knowledge Bar from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. September 13 in booth 927. This new opportunity will give attendees a venue in which to discuss the industry, ask codes questions or get technical insight from glass, window and door industry and staff specialists.

Will we see you in Las Vegas? Even if you can’t make it to the show, you can get live updates by following the #GlassBuild event hashtag on Twitter. AAMA will be posting from the tradeshow floor all week, and I’ll be tweeting from my new account, @Janice_Yglesias. See you there!
