The first-ever FGIA Virtual Summer Conference went well, complete with excellent panel discussions and updates, many pertaining to how to handle the fallout of COVID-19. While the virtual nature of the event meant participants were not able to spend their usual time together in person, it didn’t mean they couldn’t still share and connect online. The virtual happy hours were a big hit with a variety of topics from marketing to technical and costumes to cocktails.

Here are some social media highlights from the conference, thanks to the event hashtag #FGIAconf.

FGIA Member and Silver sponsor Deceuninck tweeted a preview of the conference before it began.

Speaker Lisa Sterling tweeted about her presentation on how to manage remote workforces.

FGIA member Lisa Bergeron shared some fun photos from a costume-themed Zoom happy hour.

FGIA Marketing and Communications Director Angela Dickson tweeted about Nick Limb’s FGIA members only discussion about the new FGIA market study.

Angela also shared a Facebook photo of her preparing to give the introduction to Nick’s session!
