The FGIA team is excited to share that registration is now open for our 2021 Virtual Summer Conference, which will be held June 22-24! Maybe even more exciting than that is that this is the last fully-virtual event on the FGIA conference calendar! And, once again, we have a great line-up of speakers and topics to share.

I’m anxious to hear keynote speaker Ken Gronbach (KGC Direct) explore the fascinating realm of demography and how counting people allows for accurately forecasting future markets to prepare companies for life after the pandemic. I expect Gronbach’s address to offer great insights to support the industry’s efforts to move forward from the pandemic and get back to work safely and efficiently.

Other Virtual Summer Conference presentation topics include leveraging Manufacturing Day, developed by the Manufacturing Institute and National Association of Manufacturers, to build one’s workforce, as well as our customary safety session focused this time on OSHA’s voluntary protection program. We also have a session highlighting new ways to promote the benefits of daylighting, plus our always well-attended U.S. and Canadian legislative and regulatory report and our codes report for both countries.

Of course, we additionally are offering a full slate of breakout meeting sessions addressing current association work throughout the remainder of the conference schedule. And don’t miss the Opening General Session where we’re excited to be unveiling details of our first-ever hybrid conference coming up in October. Be on the lookout for more news about that next week!

Registration rates are very affordable and the company upgrade option – which includes an unlimited number of a company’s employees participating from multiple locations – allows companies to really leverage their investment and connect a larger segment of their team to the information and value delivered by the association. Registration ends on June 8, so don’t wait!
